When will the schedule for 2023 be out?
- Timbits U5 and U7 schedule will be posted on their division page in March
- Practice schedules for U9 + will be finalized early-mid April
What equipment does my child need?
- All players need their own ball glove
- Players U9 and up are required to also have a fielder's mask, and a batting helmet with a cage
- FFA provides balls, bats, catcher's gear and any additional equipment to all teams but if you wish to buy and use your own you are welcome to

Can my child play up an age category?
- Typically, players will only be allowed to move up an age category if a team for their age will not be offered due to low numbers.
- All other scenarios will require approval by the FFA Executive
How do I know when softball is cancelled due to the rain?
- The City of Fredericton closes fields by 3:00 pm on their Facebook page each day, if there is no announcement the fields are open.
- Games outside of the city limits are decided on by the home team

Is softball cancelled when it is really hot out?
- The decision to cancel due to heat will be up to each individual team and the coach's discretion
- FFA encourages all teams to still practice but take lots of water breaks, and plan practice accordingly
